Terms of Use

The agreement
attensio is an iPhone app for keeping a personal record of your blood pressure and related context. These terms are an agreement between you and Anggie Aziz (“attensio”, “we”), the developer of the app. By downloading or using attensio, you agree to them.
The app is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which these terms supplement. Where the two conflict, Apple’s standard license controls. Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app or its content, but Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as a third-party beneficiary.
Not medical advice
attensio is a personal wellness journal, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or offer medical advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. It helps you keep a record worth bringing to the person who provides that care. Decisions about your health — including any change to your medication — belong with you and your doctor, never with an app.
The trends, statistics, and reference ranges attensio shows are informational summaries of the numbers you and Apple Health provide. They depend entirely on the accuracy and completeness of what was logged.
In an emergency, contact your local emergency services. Do not rely on attensio.
Eligibility
attensio is made for adults. You must be old enough to hold your own Apple Account in your country to purchase Pro, and you may not use the app if you are under 13.
Free and Pro
attensio is free to use for daily logging, trends, reminders, and the core doctor-ready report. A one-time in-app purchase of $14.99 USD (or the equivalent price Apple sets for your region) unlocks Pro: the full chart range, advanced analysis, the full analytic doctor report, CSV export, unlimited reminders, full medication tracking, Apple Health write-back, and the encrypted backup.
The Pro purchase is one-time. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no other in-app purchase. Features may evolve over time, but features you have paid for will not be moved behind a new charge.
Purchases, restores, and refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple under the App Store terms; attensio never sees your payment details. Your Pro entitlement is tied to your Apple Account and can be restored on your devices with “Restore Purchases” in the app. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s refund policy — we have no ability to issue or deny them. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data and your responsibility
Your health data stays on your device; the Privacy Policy has the full detail. Two consequences of that design are worth stating plainly:
- We cannot recover your data. There is no attensio copy of your journal. If you delete the app without a backup, the journal is gone.
- We cannot recover your backup key. The Pro backup is encrypted with a key that only your iCloud Keychain holds. Keeping your device passcode, Apple Account, and iCloud Keychain in working order is what protects your ability to restore.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for how you use the reports and exports the app produces — including who you share them with.
License and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use attensio on iPhones you own or control, as the App Store rules allow. You may not copy, modify, resell, or redistribute the app, or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly permits. The attensio name, brand, and app content remain ours; your data remains yours.
Warranty disclaimer
attensio is provided “as is” and “as available.” We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but we cannot promise the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no warranty — express or implied — about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the app meets your specific health needs. Some jurisdictions do not allow excluding implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you. If the app fails to conform to a warranty that does apply, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, attensio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including health outcomes, lost data, or lost profits — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Support and maintenance
We — not Apple — are responsible for the app and for support. Reach us at [email protected] or via the FAQ. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for attensio, and we — not Apple — are responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability, consumer protection, privacy, and legal or regulatory claims. If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property, we — not Apple — are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
Termination
These terms apply for as long as you use the app. They end automatically if you breach them; you can end them at any time by deleting the app. The sections on warranties, liability, and your data survive.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section deprives you of consumer protections granted by the law of the place where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date and noted in the App Store release notes before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
