Pulse pressure
Pulse pressure is systolic minus diastolic — the gap between the two numbers. A common reference point for adults is around 40 mmHg. Consistently wider or narrower gaps over time can be meaningful in context with the rest of your history. Discuss any persistent pattern with your doctor.
